Using an FTP client allows you to manage your server files directly, offering faster upload speeds and more control than the web-based file manager. This guide covers how to connect to your Imperium Hosting game server using FileZilla, our recommended FTP client.
Step 1: Download FileZilla
Download the FileZilla Client from the official website:

Step 2: Locate Your FTP Details

Log in to your Imperium Hosting Game Control Panel.

Select your game server.

Scroll to the FTP Info section on the main service page.

You’ll see your FTP IP and Port

Example IP:
167.114.172.201 -
Example Port:
8821

Note: If it says SFTP Info, you will need to prefix the host with
sftp://.
For example:sftp://167.114.172.201
Step 3: Connect via FileZilla

Open FileZilla.

Enter the connection info as follows:

Host:
167.114.172.201(orsftp://167.114.172.201if using SFTP) -
Username: Your Control Panel username

Password: Your Control Panel password (can be changed from within the panel)

Port:
8821(or as listed in your panel)

Click Quickconnect.
Step 4: Manage Your Files
Once connected, you’ll see two panels:

Left Side: Your local files

Right Side: Your server’s file system
You can drag and drop files, create folders, delete old data, and more.
Troubleshooting

Incorrect Login? Double-check your username and password. Try resetting your panel password if needed.

Connection Refused? Ensure your server is online and that you’re using the correct IP, port, and protocol (FTP vs. SFTP).
