How to Join Your Project Zomboid Server Print

Welcome to Imperium Hosting! Follow these steps to connect to your Project Zomboid server using the in-game favorites list.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Launch Project Zomboid

   • Open the game through Steam.

2. Navigate to the Join Menu

   • From the Main Menu, click on the Join button.

3. Add Your Server to Favorites

   • On the right-hand side of the Join screen, click “Add to Favorites”.

4. Fill in Your Server Details
   In the pop-up window, enter the following:

   • Favorite Name: Give your server a memorable nickname (e.g. "My Imperium Server").

   • IP: Enter your server's IP address (e.g. 104.192.227.53).

   • Local IP: Leave this blank.

   • Port: Enter your server's port (e.g. 8766). This is the number after the colon in your connection info.

   • Server Password: Enter this only if your server is password-protected.

   • Description: Optional—feel free to leave it blank.

5. Create Your Account

   • When you join for the first time, you’ll be prompted to set a Username and Password. This is your in-game login and ensures no one else can use your name.

6. Join the Server

   • After saving, select the server from your Favorites list and click Join.
