How to Obtain and Apply Your Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord Server Auth Token Print

  • 0

To host a custom Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord server, you'll need to generate and apply an authentication token tied to your Bannerlord account. This token allows your server to connect to the multiplayer backend and remain visible in the public server list.

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Each auth token supports up to 5 servers for a period of 3 months

  • After 3 months, the token will expire and need to be regenerated

  • The token is linked to your personal Bannerlord account, and any misuse can be traced back to you

Keep it private — never share your token publicly

Part 1 – Generating Your Auth Token

  1. Launch Bannerlord Multiplayer
Open the game and log into your Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord multiplayer account.

  2. Open the In-Game Console
Press ALT + ~ (tilde) or ALT + the key directly below your Esc key.
This opens the in-game console input box.

  3. Generate the Token
    In the console, type:

    customserver.gettoken

    Press Enter.

  4. Locate the Token File
Your token will be saved automatically in:

    Documents\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\Tokens\DedicatedCustomServerAuthToken.txt
  5. Copy the Token
Open the .txt file and copy the token string — you’ll need it in the next step.

Part 2 – Adding the Token to Your Imperium Hosting Server

  1. Log Into Your Control Panel
Access your Imperium Hosting Control Panel and open your Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord server.

  2. Open the Command Line Manager
From your server overview, click on “Commandline Manager.”

  3. Edit the Default Command Line

    • Find the “Default” command line

    • Click the “Select” button to make it active

  4. Paste in Your Token

    • In the Dedicated Server Authentication Token field, paste your copied token

    • Click Apply to save the changes

  5. Restart Your Server
Head back to the main server panel and start or restart your server.

That’s It — You’re All Set!

Your server is now authenticated and ready to show up in the public Bannerlord server browser.
