How to Change Mod Load Order on Your Conan Exiles Server Print

When using multiple mods on your Conan Exiles server, the load order can significantly impact functionality and compatibility. Mods higher in the list load first, so ensuring the correct order helps prevent crashes or conflicts.

Follow the steps below to manually adjust your mod load order through your Imperium Hosting control panel.

Step 1: Access Your Control Panel

Log in to your Imperium Hosting Game Control Panel.

Step 2: Stop Your Server

Before making any changes, stop your server from the control panel. This prevents corruption or file overwrite issues.

Step 3: Navigate to the Mods Folder

1. On the left-hand side, click File Manager or access via FTP.

2. Open the directory path:
   ConanSandbox/Mods/

Step 4: Edit the modlist.txt File

1. Locate the file named modlist.txt.

2. Right-click the file and choose Edit.

3. Rearrange the lines in the file to reflect your desired mod load order.
   Each line should reference a .pak file like so:

   *Mod1.pak
   *Mod2.pak
   *Mod3.pak
   

4. Click Save and Exit.

Mods are loaded in the order they appear from top to bottom.

Step 5: Restart Your Server

Return to your control panel and start the server. Your updated mod load order is now active.
