Here’s a polished and branded version of the “Become an Admin (OP)” guide, customized for Imperium Hosting using your TCAdmin v2 control panel:

How to Become an Admin (OP) on Your Minecraft Bedrock Server

Want to give yourself admin powers on your Minecraft Bedrock server? Follow these simple steps to become an Operator (OP) and gain access to commands like /gamemode and /time set.

Note: Operator status allows you to run admin commands in-game. Only trusted players should be given OP permissions.

Step 1: Access the Server Console

  1. Log in to your Imperium Hosting Control Panel

  2. Select your Minecraft Bedrock service

  3. Click on the Console tab from the side navigation bar

Step 2: Use the OP Command

  1. In the console command box, type:

    op YourUsername

Replace YourUsername with your actual Minecraft username.
    Example:

    op Notch

  2. Press Enter or click Send

Step 3: Confirm the Change

After entering the command, you should see a message in the console similar to:

Made Notch a server operator

This confirms that you now have admin privileges.

Step 4: Verify In-Game

  1. Join your server using Minecraft Bedrock Edition

  2. Try entering an operator command in chat, such as:

    /gamemode creative

    or

    /time set day

If successful, your admin permissions are working properly!

Having Trouble?

  • Double-check your username was typed correctly (case-sensitive)

  • Ensure the server is running when you issue the command

  • You must use the console, not in-game chat, to initially OP yourself
