If you have a singleplayer Bedrock world or one downloaded from the internet, you can easily upload it to your Minecraft Bedrock server hosted with Imperium Hosting.

Important: This process requires Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition. Uploading worlds directly from mobile, tablet, or console is not supported.

Step 1: Export Your Bedrock World (from Windows 10 Edition)

  1. Open Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition

  2. Click Play

  3. Click the pencil/edit icon next to the world you want to export

  4. Scroll down and click Export World

  5. Choose a folder to save your world and click Export

    • This will save a .mcworld file to your computer

Step 2: Upload the World to Your Imperium Hosting Server

  1. Log in to your Imperium Hosting control panel

  2. Stop your Minecraft Bedrock server via the Service Overview page

  3. Click on the File Manager tab

  4. Navigate to your Bedrock server's root directory and open the worlds folder

  5. Upload your .mcworld file here

  6. Once uploaded, right click the .mcworld file and then click Extract

    • A new folder with your world files will appear

Step 3: Update Your Server to Load the New World

  1. Go to the Configuration Files tab

  2. Click Server Properties (Bedrock)

  3. Locate the setting named world-name

  4. Change the value to match the exact folder name created when you unzipped the world

  5. Click Save

  6. Return to the Service Overview and Start your server

You’re Done!

Your Bedrock server will now load the uploaded world.
