How to Add Admins on Your Sons of the Forest Server Print

Grant administrative privileges to yourself or others with ease

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Log in to the Imperium Hosting Game Panel
   Access your server's control panel using your credentials.

2. Stop the Server
   For changes to apply properly, always stop the server before editing configuration files.

3. Access the Admin Whitelist File

   • In your panel, navigate to the File Manager.

   • Locate and open the file named ownerswhitelist.txt.
     You can find this in the root directory of your Sons of the Forest server.

4. Add a New Admin
   Use the following format to add yourself or others as an admin:

    

   [YourSteam64ID]

   Replace YourSteam64ID with the actual 64-bit Steam ID of the admin.

   Example:

    

   76561198012345678

5. Save and Start the Server
   After adding the ID(s), save the file and start the server back up.
