Frequently Asked Questions About Unturned Servers

You can upload Steam Workshop mods by first subscribing to them on your PC through Steam. Then, locate the mod folders in SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\304930 and upload both the folder and .mod file via FTP to Unturned/Servers/YourServer/Workshop/Content. Restart your server to apply the changes.

Make sure your server is publicly accessible (not LAN), your ports are properly forwarded, and your server has a valid GSLT (Game Server Login Token). Also, ensure your firewall isn't blocking traffic. If you're still having issues, players can always connect using your IP and port directly.

To add yourself as an admin, open the Permissions.config or use Adminlist.txt in your server files and add your Steam64ID. You can find your ID at https://steamid.io. Save the file and restart your server.

You can change the map by modifying the Commands.dat file or using the Commandline Manager in your game panel.

Use a direct image link (preferably from Imgur) and paste it into the Config.json under Icon or Thumbnail. Make sure the URL ends in .png, .jpg, etc., and begins with https://i.imgur.com/. Save the config and reboot your server.
