How to Add a Server Password to Your Imperium Hosting Mordhau Server Print

Follow the steps below to set a password for your Mordhau server and restrict access to only those who know it.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Access Your Control Panel
   Log in to your Imperium Hosting control panel using the credentials provided in your welcome email.

2. Stop Your Server
   Always stop your server before making configuration changes to prevent data corruption.

3. Open the Game.ini File

   • Click on the “Configuration Files” tab

   • Locate the Game.ini file

   • Click “Text Editor” next to it

4. Set Your Server Password

   • Scroll to or search for the line (typically around line 33) that starts with:

      

     ServerPassword=

   • Add your desired password after the equals sign. Example:

      

     ServerPassword=MySecret123

5. Save Your Changes
   Click “Save & Exit” to apply the update.

6. Start Your Server
   Go back to the “Server Management” tab and click Start to launch your password-protected Mordhau server.

Your server is now protected!

Players will need to enter your chosen password to join.
