Customizing your Beasts of Bermuda server hosted by Imperium Hosting is simple and gives you full control over gameplay settings, server difficulty, and performance tuning. This guide walks you through editing the Game.ini file using a third-party configuration tool.
Step 1: Access the Game.ini File

Log in to your Imperium Hosting Control Panel

Select your Beasts of Bermuda server from your list of active services

Navigate to Configuration Files

Click Text Editor next to the file named
Game.ini
Step 2: Generate Your Configuration Using a Tool

Open the third-party Beasts of Bermuda config generator tool:

Use the tool to adjust your preferred settings (e.g., dino growth rates, weather cycles, food spawn rates)

Once finished, the tool will generate a customized block of
Game.inicode
Note: This tool is maintained by an external developer (
Cleafspear#0001) and is widely used by the Beasts of Bermuda community.
Step 3: Apply and Save Your Configuration

Copy the generated code from the config tool

Return to your Game.ini file in the Imperium Hosting control panel

Paste the configuration into the file, replacing the existing content as needed

Click Save in the top-left corner of the editor
Step 4: Verify Port Settings
Make sure your port settings (e.g., query, game, and RCON ports) remain unchanged. These are assigned automatically and can be found on your Server Overview page in the control panel.
Step 5: Start Your Server

Go back to your Service Overview

Click Start to boot your server with the updated configuration
