Keeping your Enshrouded server running smoothly is important for performance, stability, and uptime. One effective way to maintain this is by scheduling automatic restarts.
This guide walks you through setting up automated restarts using the Scheduled Tasks feature in your Imperium Hosting control panel.
Step 1: Log in and Navigate to Your Server

Go to your Imperium Hosting Control Panel

Select your Enshrouded server from your list of active services
Step 2: Open the Scheduled Tasks Section

From the left-hand navigation menu, click on Scheduled Tasks

Click the New button at the top of the Scheduled Tasks panel

Select Scheduled Start/Stop/Restart

Then click New directly beneath that section to begin creating your task
Step 3: Configure the Restart Task

Give your task a descriptive name (e.g., “Daily Restart at 3AM”)

Ensure the Enabled checkbox is selected

For Type, choose Daily if you want the restart to occur at the same time every day

Set the Start Date and Time for the first restart

This will be the time the restart happens each day going forward

Make sure your control panel's timezone is correctly set to avoid timing conflicts

Step 4: Advanced Options (Optional)
If desired, expand the Advanced Options section:

Action Type: Confirm it’s set to Restart

Wait Until Empty: Enable this if you want the server to wait until no players are online before restarting

Repeat Task: Enable and configure this to have the restart occur multiple times a day

Example: Set to repeat every 6 hours for restarts at 12AM, 6AM, 12PM, and 6PM

Step 5: Save and Apply the Task

Click Save

Your task will now appear in the Scheduled Tasks list and execute automatically based on your settings
