Running an Arma 3 server through Imperium Hosting gives you full control over how missions rotate. By setting up a mission cycle, your server will automatically transition between different missions, no need for a live admin to switch them manually.
Step 1: Locate Your Local Mission Files
Before setting up mission rotation, you’ll need the mission .pbo files on your PC.
-
Press
WIN + Ron your keyboard -
Type:
%localappdata%and click OK
-
Navigate to:
\Arma 3\MPMissionsCache\ -
Copy the
.pbofile(s) of the missions you want to upload
Step 2: Upload Mission Files to Your Server
-
Log in to your Imperium Hosting Control Panel
-
Select your Arma 3 service and click Stop to halt the server
-
Go to the File Manager
-
Open the
/mpmissionsdirectory -
Upload the
.pbomission file(s) you retrieved in Step 1
Step 3: Configure the Mission Cycle in server.cfg
-
In the File Manager, locate and open the
server.cfgfile -
Scroll to the bottom and paste the following template:
class Missions { class Mission1 { template = MAP_NAME_1; // without .pbo difficulty = "veteran"; class Params {}; }; class Mission2 { template = MAP_NAME_2; difficulty = "veteran"; class Params {}; }; class Mission3 { template = MAP_NAME_3; difficulty = "veteran"; class Params {}; }; }; -
Replace
MAP_NAME_1,MAP_NAME_2, etc. with the exact names of the.pbofiles you uploaded, excluding the.pboextension
Example:
template = Altis_Liberation_V10;
-
Click Save
-

Your Arma 3 server will now automatically rotate through the defined missions, ideal for keeping gameplay fresh and hands-off. You can add or remove mission entries at any time by editing the Missions class in server.cfg.
