Choose Your Minecraft Version or Modloader
In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to select your desired version of Minecraft Java or a supported modloader (Forge, Fabric, NeoForge, etc.) for your dedicated server powered by Imperium Hosting.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Log in to your Imperium Hosting Control Panel.
2. Go to "Game Services" under Service Management, then select your Minecraft server.
3. Stop the server if it’s currently running.
4. Click the "Updates" tab.
5. In the Updates window, choose your desired Minecraft version or modloader (e.g., Forge, Fabric, NeoForge) and click Install.
6. Once installed, click the green controller icon to return to your dashboard.
7. Click on "Commandline Manager", then go to "Custom Commandlines".
8. Click the "+" (New) button and give your new commandline a name in the Description field.
9. Choose your launch option:

For a vanilla version, select the appropriate Jar File.

For a modloader, check "Use Modloader" and select your modloader from the dropdown.
10. Set the Maximum Memory Heap Size:
Example: If you have 8GB of RAM, enter
8192(1024 x 8).
11. Click Save, then Select your new commandline from the list.
12. Return to the dashboard and click Start to launch your server.
