In this tutorial, we’ll guide you through the process of making yourself an admin on your Core Keeper dedicated server. Setting yourself as the first admin is important, as it allows you to easily manage and promote other admins directly from within the game.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Log in to your Imperium Hosting control panel.

2. Navigate to "Game Services" under the "Service Management" section in the toolbar.

3. Select your Core Keeper server and stop it if it’s currently running.

4. Click on "Configuration Files."

5. Locate the Admins.json file and click the "Text Editor" button.

6. Inside the file, set the name field to your in-game character name and the steamId to your Steam64ID.

7. Note: You can add multiple admins by separating entries with a comma. However, for best results and to avoid formatting errors, we recommend adding additional admins through the in-game admin menu.

8. Click "Save & Exit" and start your server.
