How to Switch Your Game Server on Imperium Hosting

If you’re looking to switch your game server to another title, our system makes it simple! Follow the steps below to upgrade or downgrade your server directly from your Imperium Hosting account.

Step 1: Log into Your Imperium Hosting Account

1. Visit Imperium Hosting and log in to your account.

Step 2: Navigate to Your Active Services

1. Click the “Services” drop-down menu at the top of the page.
2. Select “My Services” from the list.
3. Locate the server you wish to change and click on it.

Step 3: Choose the Upgrade/Downgrade Option

1. On the left-hand side of the service management page, you will see several options (Change Password, Start, Stop, etc.).
2. Click on “Upgrade/Downgrade” to proceed.

Step 4: Select Your New Server

1. A list of available game servers will be displayed.
2. Choose the new game server you’d like to switch to.
3. The system will automatically calculate the credit for any unused time on your current plan and apply it toward the new plan.

Step 5: Confirm the Change

1. Review the cost breakdown to see any applied credits or charges for the difference.
2. Click “Continue” to finalize your switch.

Important Notice: Once you proceed with the switch, your current server will be permanently deleted. Make sure to back up any important data before switching.

Step 6: Backup Your Data Before Switching (Optional but Recommended)

Before switching servers, it's crucial to save your game data in case you ever want to restore it later.

✅ Option 1: Download to Your PC

• Access your File Manager in your control panel.
• Download any necessary files to your local PC for safekeeping.

✅ Option 2: Save to Google Drive

• Click the “Google Drive” button in the File Manager.
• Sign into your preferred Google account.
• Right-click the folders or files you want to back up and upload them to Google Drive.

Step 7: Wait for Your New Server to Deploy

Once the upgrade/downgrade process is complete, your new server will deploy immediately. This process usually takes a few minutes. Once ready, you can access it via your control panel.
