Imperium Hosting: How to Configure Your Deadswitch Combat Server Print

Follow these steps to customize your Deadswitch Combat server settings and game modes:

Step 1: Access the Config Editor

  1. Log in to your TCAdmin V2 Control Panel via WHMCS.

  2. Locate your Deadswitch Combat server and make sure it's off.

  3. Click the Configuration Files tab.

  4. Select Config Editor.

  5. Adjust your desired server settings (such as max players, bots, timers, or password protection).

  6. Click Save and then Exit.

Step 2: Add Game Modes

  1. From the Configuration Files tab, click Text Editor.

  2. Locate the gameModes section within your server configuration.

  3. Add the game modes you want your server to cycle through. For example:

  1. After adding your desired game modes, save the configuration.

Step 3: Start Your Server

  1. Return to your TCAdmin V2 Dashboard.

  2. Click Start Server (if it’s not already running).

  3. Your server will now run with the updated settings and game mode rotation.

Tips

  • Always save a backup of your configuration before making changes.

  • Ensure the JSON formatting is correct, any errors may prevent the server from starting.

  • Use Config Editor for general settings and Text Editor for advanced modifications like game mode rotation.
