This tutorial will guide you through backing up your Terraria server world and restoring it if needed.


Part 1: Backing Up Your Terraria Server

Step 1: Log into your control panel
Access your game control panel at:
https://tcadmin.imperiumhosting.com:8881/Login

Step 2: Open the File Manager
Once logged in, navigate to your File Manager and locate your Terraria server folder. Open this folder.

Step 3: Locate the Worlds folder
Inside the Terraria folder, open the Worlds folder. Look for a file ending with .wld — this is your Terraria world file.

Step 4: Download the world file
Right-click the .wld file and select Download. This will save a copy of your world to your local machine. Keep this backup in a safe location.


Part 2: Restoring a Backup

If something goes wrong with your world and you need to restore it, follow these steps:

Step 1: Log into your control panel
Access your game control panel at:
https://tcadmin.imperiumhosting.com:8881/Login

Step 2: Turn off your server
Before making any changes, turn off your server to prevent conflicts.

Step 3: Open the File Manager
Navigate to your Terraria server folder in the File Manager.

Step 4: Locate and delete the current world file
Open the Worlds folder and delete the existing .wld file. This is the world you will be replacing.

Step 5: Upload your backup
Click the Upload button at the top of the screen, then select Choose File.

Step 6: Select your backup file
Locate the .wld backup file from your local machine and upload it to the Worlds folder.

Step 7: Restart your server
Once the upload is complete, return to your control panel and start your server. Your uploaded backup will now load as your active world.
