How to Add Yourself as an Admin on Your Wreckfest Server Print

This tutorial will walk you through the steps needed to give yourself admin access on your Wreckfest server hosted by Imperium Hosting.

Step 1: Get Your Steam64 ID

Before you begin, you'll need your Steam64 ID. If you don't know it, visit https://steamid.io, enter your Steam profile URL or username, and copy your SteamID64.

Step 2: Log Into the Game Panel

Head over to your Imperium Hosting control panel:
https://tcadmin.imperiumhosting.com:8881/Login

Locate and click on your Wreckfest game service.

Step 3: Stop the Server

Click the Stop button to prevent issues while editing configuration files.

Step 4: Edit the Admin Configuration

1. Click on Configuration Files from the side menu.

2. Find server_config.cfg and click Text Editor.

3. Locate the line starting with:

    

   admin_steam_ids =

4. Add your Steam64 ID after the equals sign, separated by commas if there are multiple admins.
   Example:

    

   admin_steam_ids = 76561198000000000

Step 5: Save and Start the Server

Click Save, then go back and press Start to bring your server online.

You're now an admin on your Wreckfest server! You’ll be able to manage settings, use admin commands, and moderate the game directly in-server.
