How to Change Your Exfil Server Name Print

Changing your Exfil server name helps players easily recognize your server in the browser. Here’s how to do it using the Text Editor in your Imperium Hosting game panel.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Log in to your Imperium Hosting Game Panel
   https://tcadmin.imperiumhosting.com:8881/Login

2. Stop your server
   Before making any changes, click the Stop button on your server dashboard.

3. Open the Configuration Files
   Click on the “Configuration Files” button in your control panel.

4. Locate and Edit Settings.json

   • Find the file named Settings.json.

   • Click the “Text Editor” next to it.

5. Modify the Server Name
   Inside the file, look for the following line:

    

   "ServerName": "Default Exfil Server"

   Change "Default Exfil Server" to your desired server name. For example:

    

   "ServerName": "Imperium Tactical Ops"

6. Save Your Changes
   Click Save in the top-right corner of the editor.

7. Restart Your Server
   Return to the main dashboard and click Start to launch the server with the new name.

Your Exfil server name is now updated and will appear correctly in the in-game server list!
