Adding mods to your Imperium Hosting ATS or ETS2 server is a great way to enhance gameplay. Follow the steps below to enable the developer console, export your mod list, and upload it to your server.

Part 1: Enabling the Developer Console

  1. Navigate to your Documents folder:

    • For ATS:
      C:\Users\<YourUsername>\Documents\American Truck Simulator\

    • For ETS2:
      C:\Users\<YourUsername>\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\

  2. Locate and open the file named config.cfg using Notepad.

  3. Find and set the following lines:

    uset g_developer "1" uset g_console "1"
  4. Save and close the file.

Part 2: Exporting Server Packages

  1. Launch the game and go to the Mod Manager.

  2. Activate all the mods you want to use on your server.

Everyone who wants to join your server must have the same mods installed on their client.

  3. Open the in-game console by pressing the ~ key.

  4. Type and execute the command:

    export_server_packages
  5. This will create two files in your Documents folder:

    • server_packages.sii

    • server_packages.dat

Part 3: Uploading Mods to Your Server

  1. Log in to your Imperium Hosting Game Control Panel.

  2. Navigate to your ATS or ETS2 service.

  3. Click Stop to stop the server.

  4. Click File Manager and navigate to:

    • ./userfiles/American Truck Simulator/

    • or

    • ./userfiles/Euro Truck Simulator 2/

  5. Delete or rename the existing server_packages.sii and server_packages.dat files.

  6. Upload your new server_packages.sii and server_packages.dat from your PC's Documents folder to the same location.

  7. Click Start to bring your modded server back online.
