Modifying your serverconfig.txt file allows you to customize various aspects of your Terraria server such as the world name, password, max players, and more. Follow the steps below to make these changes through your Imperium Hosting control panel.


Steps to Edit Your Terraria Server Configuration:

  1. Log into the Imperium Hosting Control Panel
    Access your game control panel at:
    https://tcadmin.imperiumhosting.com:8881/Login

  2. Select Your Terraria Server
    Once logged in, click on your Terraria service from your list of active servers.

  3. Stop Your Server
    Before making changes, click the Stop button to shut down your server safely.

  4. Open the Configuration Files Section
    On the left-hand menu, click Configuration Files to access your server’s config files.

  5. Edit serverconfig.txt Using the Text Editor
    Locate serverconfig.txt and click Text Editor next to it.
    From here, you can modify various settings such as:

    • worldname= – Set your world’s name

    • maxplayers= – Adjust max player slots

    • password= – Set a server password

    • motd= – Message of the day

  6. Save Your Changes
    Click Save once you’re finished editing.

  7. Restart Your Server
    Return to your server's dashboard and press Start to launch your server with the new settings.
