How to Add an Admin to Your Abiotic Factor Server Print

Need to grant admin or moderator privileges to yourself or another player? Here's how to add a Steam user as a moderator on your Abiotic Factor server using your Imperium Hosting control panel.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Log in to your Imperium Hosting control panel:
   https://tcadmin.imperiumhosting.com:8881/Login

2. Navigate to your Abiotic Factor server's management page.

3. Stop your server before making configuration changes.

4. Click on Configuration Files from the left-hand menu.

5. Locate the file named Admin.ini and click on the Text Editor option next to it.

6. Scroll to or locate the [Moderators] section in the file.

7. Add a new line under that section like this:
   Moderator=STEAMIDHERE
   Replace STEAMIDHERE with the player’s actual SteamID64.
   (You can find a user's SteamID64 at https://steamid.io)

8. Click Save to confirm your changes.

9. Start your server back up and the listed Steam ID will now have moderator privileges in-game.
