How to Upload Workshop Content to Your Unturned Server Print

Want to run custom maps, gear, or mods from the Steam Workshop on your Unturned server? This guide will walk you through uploading and enabling Workshop content.

Step 1: Subscribe to the Mods

1. Open Steam and navigate to the Unturned Steam Workshop.

2. Find and subscribe to the mods or maps you want to add to your server.

Tip: Mod subscriptions are downloaded automatically the next time you launch Unturned.

Step 2: Locate the Mod Files on Your PC

Once subscribed, the mods will be saved locally. To access them:

• Navigate to the following folder on your computer:

   

  SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\304930

• Inside, you'll find numbered folders — each folder represents a subscribed mod.

304930 is the Steam App ID for Unturned. Keep this in mind if you're browsing similar directories.

Step 3: Upload the Mods to Your Server

1. Open an FTP client like FileZilla or WinSCP.

2. Connect to your server using your FTP login credentials (found in your Imperium Hosting panel under "FTP Details").

3. Navigate to:

    

   /Unturned/Workshop/Content/

4. Upload the mod folders you found on your PC into this Content directory.

Step 4: Restart Your Server

Once your mods are uploaded:

• Go back to your Imperium Hosting Game Panel.

• Click Restart on your Unturned server to apply changes.

Your Workshop mods should now load when the server boots up!

Additional Notes

• Some mods may require entries in your WorkshopDownloadConfig.json or specific mod loading rules. Be sure to check the mod’s Steam Workshop page for instructions.

• If a mod includes a map, you may also need to set the map name in your Config.json.
