Access developer tools, debugging options, and cheats through the in-game console.
Whether you're fine-tuning your world, testing mechanics, or just having fun, the in-game console in Satisfactory gives you powerful tools right at your fingertips.
How to Open the Console
To access the console, press the Tilde key (~ or `), typically located just below the Escape key (Esc) and to the left of the "1" key on your keyboard.
Each press of the key cycles through different console stages:
| Press Count | Console Stage | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 1st Press | Stage 1 | Displays a small command line at the bottom of the screen |
| 2nd Press | Stage 2 | Opens a large console window with both command input and log output |
| 3rd Press | Stage 0 | Closes the console completely |
Common Uses for the Console
-
Debugging: Track performance, logs, and internal data.
-
Cheats: Use developer cheats to fly, spawn items, or teleport (in single-player or servers with cheats enabled).
-
Configuration: Change in-game settings not available through the menu.
